'honk' (as they have become known in the small circles they frequent) know how to hold 'em. They know when to fold 'em. They know when to walk away and have frequently been forced to run. They have defied categorisation over a 15 year stint in front of some of the hardest audiences in the southern hemisphere, and have emerged as one of the regarded three piece lounge suites in the business.

Jake Hutchins (guitar, vocals) carved out a living as a chef before teaching himself guitar at age 15. Although he doesn't profess to be a master, many have regarded his pioneering 'squitch twang' as being as big a musical innovation as The Edge's signature riffs for U2. Others disagree.

Alice MacKenzie (bass) claims to never have been taught, but was playing with the band within a year of plucking her first note. She's one of a rare breed of bass players who can retain her composure on stage, no matter the frenzy which ensues. Her likeness has graced the cover of 'Bass Instincts' magazine, 'Bass Relief' magazine, and 'All Your Base' Magazine.

Jeremy Irons (no relation) (drums) considers his drum kit the enemy, and his now famous pre-gig war dance is worth turning up half-an-hour early to see. Industry pundits have used the following words to describe his playing: 'simply', 'strangely', 'staggeringly'.
